Project Details:

To design a device capable of preventing pain in the wrist as a result of damage to the median nerve caused by Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

1 design studio class - Approximately 2.5 hours

Project Summary:

On the spot single day project
Designed mostly to test how we, as students, worked under pressure
Were given access to multiple household craft items (buttons, popsicle sticks, tape, felt... etc) in order to make a device that could prevent wrist motion
Was a 'race' for us to get the items as we were competing with different teams for a limited number of tools
